FAQ

Can I transfer my water shares?

In order to transfer water shares we require the original stock certificate of the seller or a lost stock affidavit. There is a $25.00 stock transfer fee. Also the board must approve the transfer before a new certificate is issued to the new owner. Water assessment must be current.  If a parcel of land is split into 3 or more new parcels you must form a water users group or do full transfer of shares. Our water shares are NOT pertinent to the land therefore must be assessed by owner name not address.

When do assessments come out?

Assessments are mailed out twice a year. The Spring Assessment is mailed out in March and the Fall Assessment is in October. You now have the option to pay an annual amount in the Spring assessment.

When does water turn on?

We try to deliver water in March depending upon water sources.

When does water get turned off?

We try to deliver water until October 15th unless of a water shortage.

Can I plant trees/shrubs on the canal bank?

No. You may not plant on our right of way to maintain the canal. Fences are also not allowed on the ditch bank.
